Newt for the Web (Newt-Web for short) is a Newtonian Telescope Computer Aided Design program. It ray traces a Newtonian telescope design checking for vignetting, optimizes diagonal size, calculates baffle sizes and positions, and produces performance and dimensional data for construction.
Below this dialog there are 3 sets of eyepiece calculations for "low", "mid" and "hi" powers. Each section provides the option to select a commercial brand and model of eyepiece as well as a Barlow power to be used with them.
This page lists various telescope related formulas and it calculates telescope & mirror parameters for you. It is primarily oriented to the Newtonian reflecting telescope, which is what most first time telescope makers build, although many sections of it are applicable to other types of telescopes. Since many telescope makers want to compare ...

Calculate magnification by dividing the telescope focal length by the eyepiece focal length. For example, a 6 inch or 15cm telescope of 48 inches focal length used with a 9mm eyepiece yields a magnification of 48 inches * 25.4mm per inch / 9mm = 135x.
Jim Fly's online Newtonian Telescope Design Planner uses JavaScript to calculate useful telescope design parameters and eyepiece data based on realtime user input.
26 lip 2006 · myNewton is a software built to calculate all the necessary design data for building a Newtonian telescope. It support construction, building, test and use of home built astronomical...
