A new Dhori-like thogotovirus, Oz virus, has been recently isolated from the hard tick (Amblyomma Testudinarium) in Ehime, Japan . Phylogenetic analyses indicated that Oz virus is most closely related to BRBV in glycoprotein (GP) and matrix protein (M) coding genes.
