Does anyone hope/think Valve might port Proton to Apple Silicon? The new MBPs have proven to be incredibly capable devices for gaming, though it looks like Mac gamers will likely be dealing with compatibility layers for years to come.
24 maj 2021 · On Linux systems it's actually not that bad - Steam Play is available there and works with lots of titles (you can check ProtonDB [www.protondb.com] for compatibility). Also, Lutris helps a lot there, which unfortunately is also not available on Mac but only on Linux.

You can enable Proton for unsupported games in the Steam settings. After that you can just start them
