I accepted this for a year because I eventually realized that was a rule for student prime and my four years had run out because I was no longer offered to switch prime regular to prime student. However, I spoke to customer service and they ended up sending me a link where my .edu email was already verified from before and I was able to sign up.

I have an edu email address through my employer (a university) I was able to convert my Prime membership to Prime Student. I know that a quick Google search shows you can keep Prime Student for 4 years, however does Amazon actually enforce the 4 year rule?

21 lut 2023 · Looking at my Amazon account it's offering me Prime student free for 6 months then £4.49 a month thereafter. Bit odd as I'm not a student. Is there any issue with me redeeming this and using it despite not being a student?!
