1 mar 2023 · The term “overtourism” refers to the negative impact of tourism on the quality of life of citizens and visitor experiences in a destination. It is a relatively new concept in scientific research. Any discussion of overtourism is meaningless without also considering sustainability.

1 mar 2023 · Abstract. Ecotourism, natural resource conservation, and local livelihood are one of the most talked-about issues globally. It is seen as nature-based tourism that addresses two primary attributes: livelihood improvement and biodiversity conservation.
However, the relationship between tourism and the environment is multifaceted, as some types of tourism have been associated with negative environmental impacts, many of which are borne by host communities.
