Inside of the vault are safe deposit boxes. eVault is the electronic equivalent of that vault. An electronic safe deposit box for employers, Local Unions and NECA Chapters, as well as vendors in which information can be exchanged under complete security.
You apply for a Retirement Benefit or a Disability Benefit by submitting a completed and signed application to NEBF ℠. You may download a NEBF ℠ Participant Pension Benefit Application. You may also obtain an application from your Local Union office, or by contacting the NEBF ℠ office.
You can count yourself as one of the over 655,103 individuals who currently participate in the NEBF ℠. This Participant section will provide you with important information on the NEBF ℠ from Working Toward Retirement, to Getting Ready to Retire, to Life Changing Events.

To access your 1099-R, you must have an account with the Online Benefits Portal. If you are already registered with the portal, you can use your current username and password credentials; there will be an additional menu tab for your 1099-R once you log in.
