If you are seeking licensure as a professional engineer or a professional land surveyor in another state, you may need to provide them with verification of your examination and licensure status in California. To obtain this verification, you must use the verification system available through NCEES.
The Board regulates the practices of engineering and land surveying in the state of California by evaluating the experience and administering examinations to prospective licensees and by enforcing the laws regulating licensed professional engineers and land surveyors.
Applicants must still meet all board or bureau licensing requirements. For questions or assistance regarding licensing requirements, please contact the Board at (916) 999-3600. For more information on licensing resources available to service members, visit: www.dca.ca.gov/military.
