EDC is a key partner in operating the national Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC), which plays an essential role in building U.S. capacity to prevent suicide.
The Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC) is the only federally supported resource center devoted to advancing the implementation of the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention. SPRC is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

SPRC provides in-person trainings, online courses, webinars, and other virtual learning experiences. Self-paced, open to anyone, and free of charge. Designed to help leaders in campus, state, or community settings overcome challenges and develop effective suicide prevention initiatives.
