Each CIC institute is 16 hours of instruction, followed by an optional exam. Presentations are custom-tailored to reflect the applicable state laws and policies. To receive the CIC designation, you must attend five of the seven institutes and pass the exams for each.
To earn the CIC designation, participants attend five institutes (list below with course descriptions) and pass a closed-book exam after each. To maintain the designation, participants must annually attend at least one program sanctioned by The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research .
