Welcome to the online Receiver of Taxes office. This office collects taxes for Nassau County, the Town of Hempstead, 99 special districts, and 33 school districts and disburses the monies to school district treasurers and other districts without charge.
Treasurer. Hours of operation are 9:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Where possible, it is recommended that delinquent taxes be paid online at https://app.nassaucountyny.gov/treasurer/delinquent_tax/.

Paying your Taxes Online. We accept E-Checks, major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover), and debit cards (Mastercard and Visa). The service fees are as follows: Electronic checks: $1.75 flat fee. Credit cards: 2.3% of total amount. Visa and Mastercard debit cards only: $3.95 flat fee.
