De-Registration: You are required to pay for your classes within 14 days of registration. If you fail to pay all class-related fees within 14 days of registration, you may be dropped for non-payment. Napa Valley College observes a 4/10 schedule and is closed on Fridays during the summer (June/July).

The class schedule includes general education courses to enrich the student’s educational background; courses used to transfer to four-year institutions; courses which prepare the student for employment in business and industry; and courses in basic skills which strengthen the student’s educational foundation.
First day of fall semester – 8/13. Labor Day – 9/6. Veterans Day – 11/11 and 11/12 (observed) Non-instructional day (campus open) – 11/24. Thanksgiving Day - 11/25. Thanksgiving Break – 11/25-27.
Napa Valley College publishes a new catalog every year. The information published in this catalog is effective for the academic year beginning Fall 2024 through Summer 2025. Catalog Rights. Students are held to the graduation requirements listed in the catalog at the time enrollment begins.
