14 mar 2006 · The video was pretty good, I used component out, but not great. The video performance of my Elite 79AVi is better in every way. It would upconvert over component, but only non-copy-protected media.
Weakness: Slight wait time until CD/DVD can be played...about 4 seconds. Purchased this unit to complement my NAD T753 receiver and to replace an older aging dvd player. Very nice musically and video performance was definately miproved.

20 gru 2018 · With DVD-A discs I choose DVD-A. With DVD-V discs I use an optical cable to the receiver (NAD T760) which has a DTS decoder. The Dolby Digital AC-3 decoding in the T533 is miles better than that in the T760 receiver. It would have been good if NAD had included on-board DTS decoding in the T533.
16 gru 2007 · I have a NAD T763 home Theater receiver, Bose speakers all around, and a Sharp 42in LCD monitor. My wife is from poland, so she has a ton of DVD's that don't work in my cheapo cyberhome DVD player. something about the format, anyone know the difference?
