  5. If you have problems with the UCF Federated ID, login: Wait 20 minutes. Three failed login attempts on any account that uses your NID temporarily suspends your account: OpenAthens, Primo, MyAccount, MyUCF , WebCourses, UCF_WAP2 wifi, email apps on devices, and UCF computers all use the NID.

  6. Download the Microsoft Authenticator app on a personal smart device (phone, tablet etc.) Open the app, select + and "Add work or school account" then select "sign in". Sign in using your NID@ucf.edu email address and NID password. Register your device by selecting "Register" and then select "Finish".

  7. To obtain your UCF ID, go to myUCF (https://my.ucf.edu/), log in using your NID and password, click Student Self Service > Personal Information > UCF ID Info. This page will display your UCF ID, your NID and your UCF ID Card number, once you have been issued one.
