MySQL retrieves and displays DATETIME values in 'YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss' format. The supported range is '1000-01-01 00:00:00' to '9999-12-31 23:59:59' . The TIMESTAMP data type is used for values that contain both date and time parts.
TIME values of '12:00:00', '24:00:00', and '-12:00:00', when converted to DATETIME or TIMESTAMP values, result in '2012-01-01 12:00:00', '2012-01-02 00:00:00', and '2011-12-31 12:00:00', respectively.
Formatting Date and Time. The "T" in the example above is used to separate the date from the time. You can use the DateTimeFormatter class with the ofPattern() method in the same package to format or parse date-time objects.
