Build your own system of heavenly bodies and watch the gravitational ballet. With this orbit simulator, you can set initial positions, velocities, and masses of 2, 3, or 4 bodies, and then see them orbit each other.
Make your own solar system by dragging bodies and the V symbol (V for velocity) or by typing into the initial settings table in the upper-left corner of the simulation. Distances, masses, and times are in arbitrary units. Invent your own! Keep masses less than a few thousand or risk strange results.
