4 maj 2014 · Squirrel is right, it is an assembly and they didn't service any pieces. I used to pull the bronze rings out from abusing the transmission (that's another story). I modified a pair of snap-ring pliers to let me pull the syncro blocks out and then tap the bronze rings back in and restake them. Then re-install the blocks. Almost like a new syncro.

7 sty 2008 · The transmission I have is confirmed via casting numbers as Muncie 3-speed used in a 71 Chevelle with big block, and it is in no way shape or form a toploader or a Ford. The gears load from the side just like any other Muncie or Saginaw.
