4 lip 2024 · Mun, also known as the Mun and sometimes written as Mün, is a relatively large moon orbiting Kerbin. It can be thought of as an analogue to Earth's own moon, which frequently is simply called “the Moon” (Latin: Luna). It is gray in appearance with craters of various sizes and mountains exceeding 5029 m in height. The gravitational pull on ...
KSP Delta-V Planner is a tool to calculate your rocket Delta-V for interplanetary travels in Kerbal Space Program. Also known as KSP Delta-V Calculator.
From the (equatorial) surface of Mun, it takes about 900Dv to land on Kerbin. From low Munar orbit, it takes less than 300Dv to land on Kerbin.
29 sty 2023 · You've double-counted the delta-V needed to return to Kerbin from Mun. It takes something under 600 m/s to reach orbit, and then perhaps 300 m/s to go from Mun orbit back to Kerbin's atmosphere before relying on aerobraking to slow down and land.
To get back, you only need to launch from the Mun into Mun orbit (580) and then leave Mun orbit to get an intercept orbit with Kerbin (310). The rest of the numbers (860+3400) can be aerobraked away (that's what the little triangles are).
