Mullvad is a good working VPN for torrenting only. But it doesn't work well for other purposes like streaming. So, I have switched to PIA VPN because this VPN is working great for torrenting, streaming, gaming, etc.
Hi, I want to set Mullvad on my TP-Link Deco, but I’m only getting about 25MB/s down, compared to using the app on my Mac which gets about 105MB/s. My ISP throttles wireguard so both are configured to use OpenVPN using UDP and ip addresses.
I use VPNs strictly for privacy , the no.1 option is Mullvad . Second is IVPN , both excellent in terms of security and transparency. People often add ProtonVPN in this list , I have read some things recently about this service and I really question the way they operate .
I'm genuinely glad I actually did research into VPNs and came across Mullvad, which was a perfect choice for what I wanted to do. Could have easily gone with one of those extremely mainstream VPNs that sponsor Youtubers all the time, glad I didn't.
Mullvad (Nice) The standout for me has been Mullvad. Not in a fanboi sort of way. The way they are configured, and the flexibility offered, seems to indicate that they are doing what they say they are doing. I'm especially impressed that they have some post-Quantum deployed on some of their Wireguard servers already. That's my perspective.
I still have Mullvad through mid August. When I first discovered Mullvad, I had another VPN provider subscription paid through December 2024 (Christmas special). So they overlapped. Not overly concerned about the refunds.
zoredache • 2 mo. ago. It is basically firefox with adjustments, and tweaks to make it more secure, and have the builtin tunnel client. If your old laptop can't run Firefox, then it probably wouldn't be able to run the Mullvad browser. 1.
