Froma previous thread, a user said he deleted his profile & password and then recreated. Was then able to connect.
30 sie 2012 · Go to: http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads. Select Messenger, and download 7.0.3 version. Install and setup your settings. Does it connect like it should? If it does, keep both versions, use 7.0.3 until the connection problem is resolved with 8.0.1.
