30 sty 2018 · The authoring program I'm using, DVDStyler, offers two options about the encoding of the final audio: MP2 or AC3. My DVD players have the capability to correctly reproduce the MP4 files with AAC audio (just for information).

12 mar 2008 · ac3 is the best choice, 384 kbps stereo will almost certainly suffice, but you need a Dolby licensed encoder. If this isn't an option, then mp2, subject to compatibility, is the better choice.
Compressed AC3 and MP2 audio can sound just as good as PCM, at a lower cost (in terms of disc space). In general, much like AVI video, the PCM audio format is honestly only good for editing. Final DVD audio should be AC3 if at all possible.
For example, MP3 and AAC dominate the personal audio market in terms of market share, though many other formats are comparably well suited to fill this role from a purely technical standpoint.
12 mar 2008 · I can choose between AC3, and MP2 Formats, since both formats are supported by the DVD Standards, and by the GUIForDVDAuthor. I want to ask what Format do you recommend me to use, the 48 KHz AC3, or the 48 KHz MP2, and the Reasons....Why???
25 sty 2024 · If MP2 audio is still causing issues, experimenting with AC3 or another audio codec might be necessary. You can do this by adjusting the advanced export settings in OpenShot: Go to File→Export Video and click on the "Advanced" tab. Under "Audio Settings", try selecting different Audio Codecs to check if any of them work.
