14 wrz 2019 · The Osseo Trail is a steep climb but the top of Mt. Flume has outstanding views. This route leads to the summit of Mount Flume, one of the NH 4k peaks. Begin from the popular Lincoln Woods Trailhead and hike along the Pemigewasset River.
11.2 miles round trip (including Lincoln Woods Trail and the Franconia Ridge Trail) 6-8 hours. Difficulty: Weekend Warriors. The Osseo Trail ascent of Mt. Flume has to rank as one of the “easier” 4,000-foot climbs in New Hampshire’s White Mountains.
