26 mar 2024 · Seagrave was founded by Fredric Seagrave in Detroit, Michigan, in 1881. As such, Seagrave is the oldest manufacturer of fire apparatus in the United States. The company moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1891, and remained there until 1963, when the company was purchased by FWD.
Heritage Fire Equipment now operates from a 27,500 square foot facility in Columbus, Ohio and includes 4 full time mobile service vehicles. In addition to quality fire apparatus, Heritage Fire Equipment provides the same quality in firefighting tools, many of which are in stock and ready to go to work.
