There is a free parking lot behind the hotel. The lot is just a standard parking lot. As some reviews have stated, you do have to walk across the alley and through the valet area to get to the front door of the hotel from the parking lot. The lot is shared with a concert venue next door. Once the lot is full your only real option is valet.
I have read that the public parking lot behind it is a common pick for people staying overnight there. Can any locals confirm that it is fine/relatively safe to park there if I am staying at the Moonrise for the night?
