14 kwi 2015 · Monozygotic and dizygotic twin studies investigating the relative roles of host genetics and environmental factors in shaping gut microbiota composition have produced conflicting results. In this study, we investigated the gut microbiota composition of a healthy dichorionic triplet set.

14 maj 2020 · Microbiome data from oral plaque swabs from 143 twins (70 twin pairs, and 1 set of triplets) with 62 monozygotes and 81 dizygotes (36 opposite sex dizygotes, and 45 same sex dizygotes) were surveyed. Eligible individuals were sampled 3 times at approximately 6 months intervals.
1 sty 2020 · Zygosity is the term that describes the number of zygotes from which a multiple pregnancy is produced. In the simplest form, twins may either be monozygotic (i.e., produced from a single zygote) or polyzygotic, namely, dizygotic, trizygotic, etc. (i.e., produced from two, three or more zygotes).
7 sty 2021 · This analysis was restricted to blood and buccal samples with sampling dates, resulting in 766 individuals from 380 biologically independent monozygotic twin pairs and 2 monozygotic triplets.
Monozygotic twins also tended to share more amplicon sequence variants between them. Bacteroides Veillonella Heritability analysis showed that the genera and are particularly susceptible to host genetics.
