21 cze 2023 · The Mono Truss is configurable in a range of sizes with typical spans between 16’-40’ (4.9-12.2 m) and overall heights of 5’4”-40’ (1.63-12.2 m). The thickness of wood trusses is commonly 1.5”, 3”, or 4.5” (3.8, 7.6, 11.4 cm). Trusses have a pitch ratio typically between 1:1 to 1:6.
Roof Truss Span Tables. Alpine truss designs are engineered to meet specific span, configuration and load conditions. The shapes and spans shown here represent only a fraction of the millions of designs produced by Alpine engineers. Total load(PSF) Duration factor. Live load(PSF) Roof type.
Steel roof trusses: A closer look at steel roof trusses and their applications. Cold-formed steel trusses : Learn about lightweight, strong cold-formed steel trusses. Prefabricated steel trusses : The benefits of prefabricated steel trusses for large-scale projects.
This document provides roof truss span tables for different roof configurations including common, mono, scissors, and flat roofs. It lists the top and bottom chord sizes and maximum span lengths in feet for various roof pitches, truss depths, and load conditions.
Mono Roof Trusses. Mono trusses slope in one direction and are often used in low-level, lean-to style extensions. For this reason they are only able to span up to 10 meters although it is possible to modify the webs in order to increase this further where necessary.
Mono pitch roof trusses are triangular structural frameworks designed to support roofs with a single sloping surface. Unlike a traditional dual-pitched roof with two sloped sides, a mono pitch roof has a single incline that slopes downwards from a central ridge.
You can use SBCA’s span charts to roughly determine truss sizes available. Included are a series of representative roof truss span tables that will give you an idea of the truss spans available for a particular load condition, load duration, lumber type, and truss configuration.
