23 sty 2024 · If you didn't migrate it last year your accounts disappear & you have to buy Minecraft again. If you haven't played MC for awhile you're basically screwed. It sucks especially if you somehow can't get into your email even if you did migrate your account but Mojang did give MC players a heads up to migrate your account for a while. Reply reply.

From now on, you will use your Microsoft account to sign in to the Minecraft Launcher and on Minecraft.net If I recall correctly I think it generated a new Microsoft account that was paired with my Minecraft account when I merged, which is the email that I do not know.

It is counterintuitive because you are not actually setting up a new account. But once you click to add a new account you can choose to sign in with your Microsoft account in the Launcher. Once you do that, it will automatically use the Microsoft account to log you in from the Launcher. And my worlds were there without change.
