The only problems you might (still unlikely tho) suffer will be from transfers between devices on the same network ( 1080p streaming should likely be fine). Keep in mind that 5ghz has a somewhat smaller range than 2.4ghz and also less wall penetration so be ready for that.
23 kwi 2019 · My computer is using a (Realtek RTL8188EU Wireless LAN 802.11n USB 2.0 Network Adapter) and after doing some research I see that it is indeed capable of 5ghz. However in my attempts to change make the switch I have found no option to change to 5ghz.

Long story short, after we installed a new 802.11AC USB Wifi Adapter on there, it would often switch between 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz connections without warning. Surely, when it does that, our remote connection drops. We tried uninstalling the software/driver, update, and clean install. Nothing works.
