Tuition rates are set by the Academic Council each year in spring for the following academic year. The annual cost of attendance is the total amount we estimate it will cost a student to attend MIT for one year. We use this budget to determine financial aid for every student. The full price of an MIT education is $85,960 for the 2024–2025 academic year. However, most students pay far less than that. We offer full-need financial aid, which means we meet 100% of your demonstrated financial need for all four years of your undergraduate career.
