Online license sales. The Minnesota DNR has received a limited number of reports from people who attempted to purchase fishing or hunting licenses online and came away from the transaction without a license, or having been charged in excess of the cost of a license. A hunter can apply using both a firearm and muzzleloader license; but may only enter one lottery per license. The application deadline is Thursday, Sept. 5. All hunters who purchase a firearms or muzzleloader license, and declare an antlerless permit lottery area by Sept. 5 will be automatically entered into the lottery for an antlerless permit.
