21 maj 2015 · I had the exact same problem. The server closed immediatly after starting it. I tried to remove the ip from server-ip=, and the server didn't close, just like in your case. Then i reentert the exact same ip and suddenly it worked flawlessly.
We got Twilight Forest and NotEnoughItems to work, but others we wanted such as multiplayercommands mod and mutant creatures mod just cause the server jar file to close a few seconds after opening it, with no crash or error report. Any help is appreciated.
28 mar 2020 · Yesterday I tried to open the .bat as always and it immediately close.. If I open the server.jar, it opens the server but with less RAM. I also tried adding the "pause" at the end but the ms-dos window closes.. I also tried unistalling Java and downloaded it again (64-bits version).
Every time I open the server jar/exe it just closes directly after opening it. I've use a run.bat file with different bin commands but it still will not stay open for more than 1 second. I've restarted my computer twice, reinstalled the server files, done everything with the "java isn't recognized as a batch file" stuff but still nothing.
You are missing something from your description of what you see in the .bat file output. At minimum, you would see either a Java error message, or the message that the Java command itself could not be run. My guess would be an error complaining that Java can't allocate that much memory... true.
