Installation for Minecraft Launcher. The Minecraft and Fabric Loader versions can be selected in the installer, this download works for every version we support. Make sure to follow the installation instructions! Most mods will also require you to install Fabric API into the mods folder.
Download and install the Minescript mod for either Fabric (requires Fabric API) or Forge. Download and install Python 3 if you don't already have it: https://www.python.org/downloads/ (or from the Microsoft Store on Windows)

Thought I'd share what I know about Legacy Fabric a way to install Fabric on 1.8.9 (1.7.10 and 1.12.2 are possible but only for Developers at the moment but 1.8.9 has a small handful of mods currently).
