23 maj 2021 · I need to use Forge for Minecraft 1.7.10. I have launched it through the launcher and to see if the vanilla version works and it does. Next, I download the recommended files for Forge 1.7.10. I hit open with the Java SE Binary platform and the download says successfully downloaded.

Adds a screen for viewing a list of installed mods. The menu is searchable and sortable, libraries can be hidden. Client-side and API mods are marked with a special badge in the list. When clicking a mod in the list, its homepage, issues link and description are displayed.
If it runs correctly with no mods, and crashes with mods, it could be a few things. First, you may need to increase your memory (as shown in my example profile above). Or, its possible that one or more of the mods you've selected are not for 1.7.10.

Another suggestion, however not a fix, would be to lower your RAM settings. Even with mods, your game should not need 3 Gb of ram, and its probably actually slowing down the performance of your computer if you have it that high. With mods, try 1-1.5 Gb, or in extremely heavy modding situations 2 Gb.
