While programming with the API, I noticed that the animations by default interrupt mob movement and other AI tasks. Does anyone know of a way to set animation tasks to execute simultaneously with other AI tasks, and even with each other?

The way I am understanding the AniAPI is that it allows animation functions like swimming, crouching, etc. on the servers that support the API. No? This is all presented to me from a 10 year old and a Youtube video she showed me, so maybe I have no clue what I am dealing with here.
