24 maj 2005 · This has a thermal bypass which opens at 180F and connects directly to your oil cooler with two very short hoses. It does hide out of the way between down tubes vs. the other is on the out side and is cosmetic.
29 cze 2024 · I chose the Wimmer twin tube oil cooler which is similar to the Milwaukee Twins Dual Cool II the OP posted. I knew it wouldn't work as well as a larger cooler or one with a fan but I was surprised. It lowered my oil temperature 10°-15° F.

6 lip 2006 · I've read several stories about oil transfer or 'sumping' problems with the milwaukee eight engine. Has anybody had any experience of the problem or has an idea of how common it is? Or is it just over exaggerated internet scare stories? Would it be possible to spot the problem on a test ride?
Oil Pump Issues: Check the oil pressure using a mechanical or electronic gauge like OTC Tools 5610 Transmission-Engine Oil Pressure Tester (view on Amazon). Compare the reading to the OEM’s specified range to identify any irregularities.
I have an oil relocation kit and a supplemental oil cooler on my 2015 Freewheeler. I have wondered about potential problems with proper oil flow. I had the relocation kit and oil cooler installed just before winter and haven't had the trike out of the garage yet this year.
The Dual Cool II is longer, 24.5% more cool-ing fins than the original without sacrificing style. Available separately are two different sizes (for frames with 1-1/8” or 1-1/4” tubing) chrome plated aluminum standoff clamps for the bottom of the cooler tubes.
