1 paź 2024 · After installing the CAC enabler, restart the computer and go to a CAC enabled website . NOTE: Mac OS Sierra (10.12.x), High Sierra (10.13.x), Mojave (10.14.x), Catalina (10.15.x), Big Sur (11.x), and Monterrey (12.x) computers no longer need a CAC Enabler.

Idea #2 to try: It could mean your CAC reader needs a driver or firmware update. Look for your reader on the CAC readers page to verify if your reader and CAC combination is compatible with each other.

I have Mac OS Sonoma installed on an Intel based Mac, and am able to access CAC enabled websites using the native smart card, and adding the DoD certificates from step 5 on https://militarycac.com/macnotesVenturaUp.htm. In order for your machine to recognize your CAC certificates and DoD websites as trusted, run the InstallRoot utility (32-bit, 64-bit, or Non Administrator) to install the DoD CA certificates on Microsoft operating systems. If you’re running an alternate operating system such as Mac OS or Linux, you can import certificates from the PKCS 7 bundle.
15 wrz 2023 · Download and install the OS X Smartcard Services package. The OS X Smartcard Services Package allows a Mac to read and communicate with a smart card. In order for your machine to recognize your CAC certificates and DoD websites as trusted, the installer will load the DoD CA certificates on OS X.
