I've worked on a pro 1 extensively. As others have mentioned the big one is patching. This includes patching effects. Definitely tell the tech there what you want and have him set it up for you. Otherwise there's lots of tips and tricks. Other things to know -There are small "view" buttons in the eq/comp/head amp and bus send section.
I used to have a Pro6 surface without any of the case at all since it wouldn't fit on my desk. Held together with meccano, and it turned through 90 degrees and went upwards where my desk met the wall so I could have the extra 8 channels :oD

Some people really hate the patching, but IMO it's fairly quick and easy to do, just read the manual or have someone help you for the first time. Use the VCAs and POP groups, otherwise you'll have a hard time navigating the console if you use more than 16 channels. Reply. Award. Share.
27 wrz 2012 · It’s not just a one-trick pony that would warrant being pre-set. The Pro 1 can access up to 100 inputs, 102 outputs, and process 40 input channels and eight returns with full EQ and dynamics processing, as well as provide mixes to 27 buses.
11 sty 2011 · Re: Midas Pro 1. One of my customers just picked his up and says the flight case is substantial, with doghouse and keyboard tray. It sounds like a bargain at the price difference between the install and tour pack, but we are shopping for a lighter case so he can handle it alone.
