15 gru 2016 · I run Windows 7 64-bit and want to run XP to use old software. XP installed OK in VirtualBox, but the window in which it runs is 11" diagonally, even if I choose V iew/ F ull-screen mode in the XP window. Then the XP window just gets a thick black border but is still 11" diagonally.
Sometimes my VirtualBox doesn’t scale up to full-screen and bloats to a very unpleasant stretched mode when I try to maximize the window it. How do I fix it?

There is a menu option in VirtualBox GUI under Screen > Go to full screen; also accessible through Host + F by default. (you can configure the host key in VBox options). During a fullscreen session you should have a hidden bar on the bottom of the screen with restore tools: just tap the bottom of the screen with the mouse pointer.
