23 kwi 2024 · When I go into Mail Setup and try to change the password in Email accounts, I get "Something went wrong and Outlook couldn't update your password. Please verify your password and try again. If the problem continues, contact your email administrator."

5 lip 2023 · Click on the Gear icon in the left pane to open the Settings. Open Manage Accounts and select the account for which you want to change the display name. Click on Change mailbox sync settings and enter the name you want in the Send your messages using this name field. Save the changes and restart the Mail app.
Gmail does allow you to add your account to Outlook without setting up two-factor authentication and using an app password, but you must turn on a setting that allows "less secure apps" to connect to your account.
