If you have to replace the damaged pull cord (you can find pull cords here), you can do that using the following method: Use pliers to remove the damaged pull cord from the reel and get a replacement pull rope with the same thickness as the old one. Put the new cord through the same hole in the pull starter reel where you removed the old rope.
