20 cze 2010 · In spite of some of the comments here, I just purchased a Mendini by Cecilio Bari sax, model MBS-30L-V2 through Amazon. I assumed if it was complete junk I could return it through Amazon. I was expecting some issues and had low expectations for a $1,000 Bari.

12 lut 2009 · I ended up buying Mendini. For those people that have negative views on Alto Mendini, you are wrong. Yes it's cheap and people are saying no good but I experienced it. It's easy to play from top to bottom. I can even hit altissimo up to A4 and working higher. Intonation is very good. I use yamaha 4c mouthpiece, hemke and Rico 2.5.
5 lut 2024 · Mendini saxophones by Cecilio are some of the cheapest beginner saxes available. That, along with the ease of which they can be ordered on Amazon, makes them an attractive proposition for beginner saxophone students.
Mendinis belong to the category known in the industry as Saxophone-Shaped Objects. SSOs like the Mendini are so cheaply made (usually in China or India) with minimal quality-control (if any) that they are either non-functional on arrival or start failling pretty quickly.
