23 kwi 2024 · We cherish her memory and honor her legacy of faith and service. Melissa Wei-Tsing Inouye was an eight-leaf clover. Rare in every field she graced, yet tenacious and humble, she brought a spirit of pragmatic peace-making into seminar rooms, hospital rooms, and (figurative) war rooms.
Inouye was married and had four children. She lived in California, Taiwan, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Massachusetts, Utah, and New Zealand. [7] She was a member of the LDS Church and served as a missionary for the church in Taiwan. She was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2017 and died on April 23, 2024.
