- Superior Court Master Calendar
Court records may be searched by record number or the full name of a party involved in the case (i.e. plaintiff, defendant, attorney, etc). Records filed before October 9, 2023 may need to be requested from the Clerk Division.
Many court records can be viewed online from the Mecklenburg County Courts website. For online court records, the information includes the offender’s name, DOB, charges, timeline of court appearances, attorneys, and upcoming court hearings.
View civil or criminal court calendars by county, date, and hearing type. Search civil calendars by attorney bar number. Search impaired driving court dates by county, defendant zip code, and defendant name. Search officer appearance dates by county, agency, officer name, and officer number.
You can use the terminal to search for cases by defendant name, case number, or victim or witness name. Paper files for court cases may be accessed by visiting the clerk of court’s office in the county where the case is located. Copies may be made of court documents for a fee.
Dockets are usually managed by the County Clerk of Court. Sometimes dockets and court filings are available electronically for public viewing, but not always. Through the website for the courts, you can view the daily court calendars for District and Superior criminal and civil cases.
The Clerk of Superior Court maintains all court records in Mecklenburg County. Requesters can use the contact directory to inquire about public case files from the Court Clerk. They can also use the eCourts Portal to find online court records created after October 9, 2023.
