I have never used a Mcdavid knee brace. I don't avoid heavy lifts, I still dquat heavy 3 days a week, I just have to do a lot of hip and ankle mobility before hand. Like i said my hip is tighg so the pain is from my hip to my knee.
Tried for 2 months to resolve a problem I had with my knee brace and they never answered the phone or replied to my emails. Though if the shoulder brace is on par with the knee one itl probly be a solid product. There are basically only two brands worth a damn, McDavid and Bauerfeind.
My most downvoted opinion is that Bauerfeinds are no better than any other knee sleeve on the market. The one I bought developed a hole on the ACL side and the “support” looks exactly like a collar stay. It’s a thin little piece of plastic that can’t possible provide any protection.
