20 wrz 2024 · In this solution, my input field always has a maxlength of 10, even when I return false in the on function. How can i set the maxlength, based on a value in data model (here a type of tenant)?
If the REQUEST_METHOD is POST, then the form has been submitted - and it should be validated. If it has not been submitted, skip the validation and display a blank form. However, in the example above, all input fields are optional. The script works fine even if the user does not enter any data.
We are unable to use native HTML validation attributes within tabs because if a validation error is present in a tab that is not currently in view, the form will error out and not get submitted, and we have not found a way to automatically switch to the tab with the HTML validation error.
Problem description. I have defined a TextInput on a wizard step. I have set the numeric field modifier and also added minValue(1) and maxValue(2). I could modify the value under the min one and also above the max one. Expected behavior. TextInput with numeric modifier should set minValue and maxValue attributes on Wizard Steps. Steps to reproduce.
15 lip 2022 · When using minLength() or maxLength() with numeric(), be aware that the validation will apply to the value of the input instead of its length. This is in line with the behaviour of Laravel's min and max validation rules.
The maxlength attribute specifies the maximum number of characters allowed in the <input> element.
