15 sie 2011 · The Calculated value of the 311365 seems quite high and I have not seen a published or measured BC for this bullet. However, the values can offer a means of comparing a bullet BC to a bullet with known BC. Hope this helps.

7 lis 2023 · Cast bullets are commonly used in competition shooting IDPA and USPSA. They are economically priced and perform well. If you plan to reload the preferred suppliers are Bayou Bullets and Black Bullets International.
11 wrz 2018 · For a cast bullet, you want its diameter to be a scant .001 to .002 inches larger than a jacketed bullet. Large enough to get a tight seal in the barrel but still able to chamber. So we need to measure the diameter of the bullets we cast and compare it to a jacketed bullet.
Mike casts handgun bullets using a bottom pour electric lead furnace. an alloy with a BHN of from 10 to 15 will suffice. Such would be the 1-20 alloy up to Lyman’s old No. 2 blend. For all semiautomatic pistols, I only use Linotype, which has a BHN of about 22.
