D-21 Special offers a non-cutaway dreadnought body, 14th fret neck joint, 25-2/5" scale, fully acoustic construction, and classic styling. Natural (w/gloss finish, nickel hardware, black binding) is the only available color option.
The D-21 Special includes a Sitka spruce top with forward-shifted scalloped bracing, a traditional hand-fit dovetail neck, and a polished gloss finish. Some modern touches include a modern belly drop-in saddle and a high performance neck, for enhanced playability and comfort.
The action on this guitar is quick and responsive and the neck is effortlessly maneuverable in all positions. The foward shifted and scalloped bracing pattern in the D-21 Special is that of the vintage Martin guitars and lends to it's buttery tone and lush sustain.
