15 lut 2018 · All woods have a grain, flame (and a few other figures) are unique to maple and possibly a couple exotic species. I'd pick the one with the visible grain, no problem. In either case here's hoping you get a nice playing and looking guitar.

12 paź 2018 · I just received an unfinished maple neck from Warmoth. I was planning on applying a Tru Oil finish, leaving it smooth and natural like my 20 year old Wolfgang neck. But, I've been reading about other methods (Minwax poly, tung old, Danish oil, etc). I don't want a thick, shiny finish.

The resulting wood is strong, dry and it will not shrink or move under any circumstance.
