Located among majestic Coastal Redwood trees along the pristine Big Sur River, Big Sur Campground & Cabins offers camping and lodging with an emphasis on family togetherness. Enjoy RV or tent camping on the forest floor as you watch the kids inner tube by in the cool water.
Ventana Campground in Big Sur, located approximately 65 miles north of San Simeon and 30 miles south of Carmel, is an amazing 40 acre redwood canyon. All of the traditional sites follow the existing contour of the canyon and Post Creek without disturbing its natural beauty.
Big Sur Campground and Cabins welcomes you and your RV. We can accommodate trailers and motorhomes up to 40 feet in length in select sites. In addition to a picnic table and firepit, we provide water and electric hookups at the site, and a central dump station.
RV & tent campsites nestled along the Big Sur River as well as cabins and rooms tucked under the redwoods. Surrounded by a mixed forest featuring Coastal Redwood, Maple, Oak, Laurel, and Poplar, our accommodations provide a tranquil escape with beautiful natural wood interiors.
