Yep, just hwinfo. You open the sensor page then click the fan button at the bottom. There you can set a fan curve. What was interesting is that when I set the fans manually they span up to what speed they would go to under full load automatically.
21 sty 2019 · The cooling fan has been replaced recently, it works perfectly in Dell's diagnostic tools (Dos based). Recently started trying Windows 10 64bit. Under windows the fan sometimes just goes 0 RPM (very low), some diagnostic program don't see the CPU fan, or GPU fan.
So, the Alienware command center has stopped working on my m15 R3 and I can't change the fan speed anymore. I followed all the steps to re-install it and even paid for Dell customer support to have a look at it, but I was told the only option is to reboot the laptop to factory settings.
NBFC fan ramp-up can be easily controlled from the fan configuration. You can set your own stepping - temp vs fan speed and control the fan acoustics to your linking.
23 wrz 2022 · You can do that from Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\Create a Power Plan, then Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings to change the advanced power settings. The advanced option isn't there on the regular create page, which is annoying.
