17 paź 2008 · The foliage green was made to match the ACU colors, but since ACU is very light so is the green they used; too light if you ask me. I've found the color doent blend well with most natural greens, unlike the OD, or at least the greens we get up here in Washington.
Magpul OD Green is a particular shade with a little more yellow/brown in it. My hunting rifle has OD Green furniture and receivers. Look at all the different shades.
7 lis 2009 · MagPul FDE is just a shade darker than standard FDE. On OD Green's there is standard OD Green, Mil-Spec OD Green, Mil-Spec Green and MagPul OD Green. These are listed lighter to darker.
Which one matches better to the OD green PMAG? I have 2 P mags but only a black stock. Anyone have input? Nothing matches magpul od green.
Aero makes ODG receiver sets and are true to the color and Ghost Firearms hand guards are really closely matching to them as well. Magpul furniture is great for the consistency as well. Midwest Industries makes handguards labeled ODG but it’s really more light foliage green, kind of frustrating.
8 lis 2013 · Pick the color closest to your local vegetation. OD for East TX and foliage for most other places with scrub brush. Or, rattle can the whole rifle in camo. AR15.com and m4carbine.net have some pretty good tutorials on using Krylon for various camo patterns. NRH ag 10.
19 lip 2013 · OD Green & Cerakote color matching. I recently picked up a new Gen4 G17 and G26 in 'OD Green'.... Now I'm thinking about Cerakoting one of my AR15's to match. The 'closest' match, IMHO, is Magpul Foliage Green H-231 (middle swatch in pic). No, it is not a match.
